Governance and policies

All areas of Sheffield Hallam are governed by our Articles of Governance (AoGs). An AoG is the framework that manages and details how the Students' Union should run as a charitable organisation.

Our societies are included within this in something called a 'by-law'. A by-law is a set of rules specific to an area that manage that element of an organisation. For societies, we take our rulings primarily from by-law 8.
