♦Welcome to the Vibrant BAME Society at Sheffield Hallam University!♦
We are not just a society; we are a thriving community that is all about fostering connections among students who identify as BAME. If you are looking for a space where you can truly be yourself and meet like-minded individuals, you have found it!
Our mission is simple yet powerful: we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging for BAME students at Sheffield Hallam University. Together, we are building a safe and welcoming haven where you can be part of something special.
But that's not all! We are partnering with the Union to dive into exciting campaigns and fundraising endeavors that directly benefit our community. We want you to join us on this incredible journey!
Getting involved is as easy as 1-2-3:
OUR TEAM
Say hello to our fantastic committee members whenever you can. Our society is run by an elected Committee of members:
Remember to keep an eye on our webpage and socials for upcoming events and activities.
We have got a fantastic lineup, and some of them are even FREE! So, browse our events, grab a ticket, and come show your support. Your presence means the world to us!
We maintain a robust and direct connection with the BAME Working Committee, which serves as Sheffield Hallam Students' Union's representation system. If you're eager to drive change within the University for our community, organize events, and advocate for our community's interests, you have the opportunity to nominate yourself as one of the Open Space Representatives on the Working Committee.
More information about how to put yourself forward for this will be available soon! In the meantime, if you have any questions you can get in contact with the Student Rights and Campaigns team at studentrights@shu.ac.uk.
