About us

Established in 2023, the Sheffield Hallam Finance & Banking Society is dedicated to supporting students interested in careers in finance, banking, and investment. We provide opportunities for professional development through guest speaker events, Bloomberg and CV workshops and a student-run investment fund that offers hands-on experience with stock market analysis and portfolio management.

In 2025, we organised a trip to London to connect with Sheffield Hallam alumni working in the financial sector, offering valuable networking and industry insights. Alongside our academic focus, we host regular social events to build community and foster collaboration among members such as pizza nights,nights out and more!
