How does it work?

Adopting a society is easy:

  1. Decide which society you would like to adopt and email us at activitiesadmin@shu.ac.uk 
  2. In your email you will need to include which students will fill the President, Secretary and Treasurer roles, along with their student numbers. 
  3. We'll then be in touch with your committee to book in an induction with the Societies Team. This includes a 1 hour training, covering our events, finance and health and safety processes.
  4. You're ready to go! 

Societies up for adoption

All societies entering the Adopt a Soc programme will remain in the programme for two academic years, after which it will be closed down.
