The social work society will be a safe space for those studying or for those interested in Social Work and our values!
Events that we will be running will be:
Film & Food nights - Watching a piece of media related to social work and discussing it afterwards
In the News – A debate and discussion on events affecting social work and the social climate this month
Sober Socials - Currently reaching out to Cafe's to use as a joint study space, or book out space at the Library!
Book Club/Study Sessions – Discussing Theory, changes to legislation, and sharing useful resources with others! This will be run when people feel they are needed and to help collaborative working
Nights Out – This will be planned with society members, and will ensure places that have non alcoholic options for those who don't drink
