The Society
We are the Gaming & Esports Society! Our focus is to host a community of Sheffield Hallam University students with a love of video games, and host socials and events both online and in person to support this community. We have a space saved for everyone, whether you play games casually, competitively, or with Esports in mind, this society is for you to enjoy these games with likeminded individuals, and make some new friends whilst you're at it. We're partnered with some amazing organisations such as NSE, the National Student E-Sport association of which is the core of E-sport within the UK, and University Esports, which give us access to sponsorships from Intel, Monster Energy and much more!
Our primary aim is to provide an environment that encourages socialisation, casual and competitive spirit, and fun. With an array of events and new additions planned for this year, you can look forward to:
