Take part in research exploring how students use social media content creators for learning.
What is this research about?
This research aims to better understand the role social media content creators (i.e. YouTubers, TikTokers, Instagram creators, Twitch streamers) play in university students' learning outside the classroom.
The research explores which content creators students follow, the type of content students consume, and the impact of learning via this method on students' study experiences.
Who can take part?
To take part you must:
- be currently enrolled as a student at Sheffield Hallam University.
What would I be asked to do?
Participants will be asked to complete an online survey.
At the end of the survey, you'll have the opportunity to opt in to take part in further research via a focus group.
You will earn a £30 Amazon voucher for taking part in the survey and focus group.
How do I take part?
Complete the online survey and then choose whether you'd like to take part in the additional focus group.
