We know that many students will be out and about a lot within the city now that the new term has started, and this might mean that you will be getting taxis to travel around the city. We would recommend using City Taxis if you are booking a taxi, and they also have a Safe Taxi Scheme which is a joint partnership between us and City Taxis.

If you're short of cash, you can book a City Taxis cab on the app or phone 0114 239 3939 and quote 'Hallam Safe Taxi Scheme', then use your SHU card as temporary payment. Just leave your SHU Card with the driver who will drop off your SHU card to The HUBS, then come into The HUBS the following day to collect it and pay your fare!
