Latest Government Guidance – A statement from your Students’ Union

You may be aware that on 8th December the Prime Minister made an announcement regarding new Covid-19 restrictions for England and the government has subsequently confirmed that face-to-face teaching and learning is a priority. The Students' Union is committed to supporting you through this difficult period. Below is our guidance for visiting us at the HUBS, our Christmas opening times and what this means for our events.

The HUBS will remain open in the lead up to Christmas

The Students' Union Building will remain open to ensure you get the most from your student experience in the lead up to the Christmas break and will close for the holidays on Wednesday 22nd December at 5pm.

Our services will be operating both an in person and digital offer during the next couple of weeks. For details of how to contact the Student Advice Centre, please see their webpage.

If you would like to visit a particular team in the HUBS, we recommend getting in contact in advance to ensure we are able to provide the best service possible while keeping everyone safe.

Any face-to-face and society events planned to take place at the Students' Union over the next week will be postponed until further notice, pending changes in guidance.
