Highfield is a highly residential area of the city which has a very student-y feel in parts and is the closest area (minus the city centre) to City Campus! Highfield is also the birthplace of football, with the oldest football team Sheffield United FC, having their football ground right there!

things to look out for
Highfield sits right on the edge of London Road and the road into the city, so it's surrounded by lots of exciting businesses and places to go to, but right on your doorstep there's:
St Mary's Church -
http://www.stmarys-church.co.uk/ This place of faith sits on the border between Sharrow and Highfield and is a great place to head to for volunteering or faith based queries.
Bramall Lane Football Ground -
https://www.sufc.co.uk/bramall-lane/ There's usually a weekend match on, so head down for your pie and chips!
Highfield Library -
https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/libraries/all-libraries/highfieldlibrary.html A great local library in a good location, if you fancy a change of space or somewhere closer to home then why not work in Highfield's own learning space?
Madina Masjid -
http://www.madinamasjid.org.uk/ A little further afield (but close to Highfield) is the largest purpose built mosque. Popular with the local Muslim population it is also open for public tours.
Football matches at the Blades ground! You can usually pick up cheap tickets at the Students' Union too!
