Change starts with you

Who do you want to represent you? Back the candidate who'll stand up for your views and champion your rights. Your Union. Your voice. Your vote. Voting opens 23rd - 27th March.

Make a choice

Thank you to everyone who voted in the Referendum and having your say.

During voting week, 3,211 students cast their vote. The Returning Officer is satisfied that the Referendum was free and fair, and can now declare the result.

2,641 were in favour of the motion and 464 were against. We had 106 abstentions.

With more than 80% of the vote in favour, we can announce that students have overwhelmingly voted YES. This means that the existing Officer model will be replaced by a new model, focussed on Colleges.

The new roles are: President; Business, Technology and Engineering College Officer, Health, Wellbeing, and Life Sciences College Officer; Social Sciences and Arts College Officer; International Students Officer; and Wellbeing, Sport and Physical Activity Officer
