Liberation Groups

When you come to Hallam, you'll probably be keen to meet people like you. If you're part of a minoritised group, or Liberation group, this can often be even more important.

This is your chance to be part of a community!

This academic year, Sheffield Hallam SU will be establishing five new Liberation Committees that will represent the voices of different communities within the SU. Our Liberation Committees will be a space for students with shared experiences to come together and form a community that will both support and celebrate you throughout your time at Hallam.

Each space will have its own Committee who will organize socials, events, and campaign for the changes that matter most to its members. You will have the opportunity to shape SU policy, make new friends and support the work of our 5 Part-Time Officers.

If you are a student who identifies as BME, Disabled, Trans, LGBT+ or feel that woman forms a part of your gender identity, then sign up below to receive updates and opportunities to get involved!
