Volunteering roles for this project are now closed for this year, elections for a new comittee will take place in May. Please get in touch for more information about this project or if you are intresered in running your own project. 

Project Aim: Are you looking to gain experience of working with adults on the Autistic spectrum in a friendly and welcoming environment? Monday Club is a monthly social club for adults on the Autistic Spectrum. This role involves planning various fun activities such as quizzes and themed activity nights whilst encouraging and supporting the participants. Alongside a team of volunteers you will create a club that meets the needs and interests of the participants. The group runs from November 2019 - April 2020.

Dates for 2019/20 have currently been set for: 

11th November

9th December

20th January

17th February

16th March

20th April

The project may decide to do more than just these dates during planning!

Hours per week:1-2

Volunteers on this project will need to complete Safeguarding training and a DBS Check which will be done by the Volunteering Team at SHSU. Information on this will be sent once you are on the project. Expenses for travel can be reimbursed by SHSU for more information on this see the Volunteering Handbook.
