Sheffield Hallam Student Union (SHSU) Malaysian Society was established since 2015. As a society, our aim is to create a community for Malaysians and people who are interested in Malaysian culture in Sheffield.

We are a multicultural community. As Malaysia made up of a wide range of ethnicities (e.g. Malay, Chinese and Indian and others). We offer many interesting activities throughout the year. Theses activities included, day trips within the UK, house warming dinners, Halloween and Chinese New Year celebrations etc. 

We are also in collaboration with the University of Sheffield's Malaysian Society, joining more events is a great way create friendships and esteblish contacts. 

As a member of The Malaysian Society, you will get at least a 10% discount for meals we have and also at certain Chinese restaurants in Sheffield. Restaurant of that offer discounts to malaysian socieity members are China Red, jing ding.
