The key dates for the Election are as follows:
- Applications: Monday 14 September 2026 (10am) - Friday 2 October 2026 (4pm)
- Voting: Monday 12 October 2026 (10am) - Thursday 15 October 2026 (4pm)

Additional dates
Between Monday 5 October and Friday 9 October 2026 candidates will be given training and support to prepare for the Election. Provisional results will be announced on Friday 16 October 2025.
Application process
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Hallam Students' Union website between Monday 14 October 2026 (10am) and Friday 2 October 2026 (4pm).

Regulations and rules governing the Election
Election Regulations govern Hallam Students' Union elections and ensure they are free and fair. The process by which these regulations are implemented is outlined in our Bye-Laws (Bye-Law 5) in conjunction with our Election Regulations.
