We're delighted to welcome four new lay trustees to our Hallam Students' Union Board of Trustees, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to help guide us through the next stage of our strategic journey.
The Board of Trustees plays a vital role in overseeing our governance and strategic direction, ensuring we continue to deliver for students and remain focused on our mission to give Hallam students the edge throughout their university experience.
Joining the Board are:
- Pete Shillito - Chair of Trustees
- Dave Moore - Chair of Finance & Risk Committee
- Liz Goodbrand - Chair of HR Committee
- Oz Hetherington - Board Trustee
Each trustee brings valuable professional knowledge and leadership experience that will strengthen the Board and support Hallam SU as we continue to champion students, enhance the student experience, and deliver our strategic priorities.
Commenting on his appointment, the new Chair of Trustees, Pete Shillito, said:

The new trustees join us at an exciting time as we continue to strengthen our partnership with Sheffield Hallam University, enhance student representation, and deliver initiatives that support students to thrive both during and beyond their time at university.
