As we reach the end of the academic year, Hallam Students’ Union would like to extend our sincere thanks to the trustees who are stepping down from the Board of Trustees this summer.
Our trustees play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of Hallam Students’ Union, ensuring that we continue to serve the best interests of Hallam students. Through their leadership, expertise, insight and commitment, they have helped support our mission to ensure students have the best University experience possible.
This year, we say farewell to the following trustees:

Over the past year, these trustees have dedicated their time, energy and expertise to supporting the Students’ Union and ensuring students remain at the heart of everything we do. Their contributions have helped strengthen our governance, support informed decision making and guide the organisation through another successful year.
Reflecting on her time as Chair of Trustees, Laura Davies, said:
"It has been a privilege to serve as the Chair of Trustees at Hallam SU. I am delighted to be passing the baton to Pete and wish him every success. Pete, Liz, Oz and Dave bring excellent experience, expertise and networking to the organisation. I will watch HSU's progress with continued interest."
As we thank those who are leaving, we are also excited to welcome our new trustees and we look forward to working with the new Board in the 2026/27 academic year as we continue to represent, support and create opportunities for Hallam students.
