Sheffield Hallam Students' Union Charities Engagement and Volunteering Team supports any Sheffield Hallam Student or staff member looking to volunteer, by providing a free and professional brokerage service that aims to match volunteers with opportunities and organisations in the community.

We are also partnered with Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS) and encourage all organisations looking to recruit general volunteers as well as Sheffield Hallam University student volunteers, to register their volunteer opportunities with them.
We promote all external opportunities to Sheffield Hallam University students. We run Volunteering Fairs in partnership with Voluntary Action Sheffield which we encourage students to attend. Opportunities are also often promoted through lecture shout-outs, social media channels and direct mail-outs. We are an open office and students regularly drop in to find out more about volunteering and what is on offer in the city.

If your opportunity is a one-off, please list your opportunity in the same way via the options below. Please make sure you include the number of volunteers you need, the deadline for sign ups and the date of the opportunity.
