Community Action Volunteering Opportunity | Cavendish Cancer Care - Social Media Volunteer

Project Overview

At Cavendish Cancer Care they support both people with a cancer diagnosis and their families and friends who are affected by it. Their support is available whenever needed through diagnosis, treatment, remission, recurrence, end-of-life care, and bereavement. Their support is always free of charge, and volunteers are essential to ensure that they can continue to do so.

Much of their work is delivered at the Tim Pryor Centre in the heart of Sheffield, which provides a warm and welcoming space to maximise the effectiveness of the support they provide.

They provide emotional, physical, and practical support through a range of therapies including acupuncture, aromatherapy, counselling, hypnotherapy, massage, reflexology, shiatsu and more. They also have a dedicated Children and Young People’s Service.
