Explore Sheffield, make friends, and try something new with our one-off Give it a Go sessions. Activities include trips, workshops, fitness classes and more!

Try something new and take a break from your studies with our Give It A Go programme.

This is your opportunity to make the most out of your time in Sheffield.

Give It A Go is a full calendar of amazing activities for you to try whilst you are a student at Sheffield Hallam University.

The aim of the programme is to try something for the first time without buying a membership. You can visit local attractions with our student guides, meet new people, and gain experiences with activities from society sessions to creative craft workshops, volunteering opportunities, fitness classes and lots more! You can explore Sheffield and all it as to offer with no long-term commitment, and little to no cost.

Activate your membership to register for tickets for any of our events. Please see below what Give It A Go has to offer, or head over to our What's On page to find out what we have to offer.
