DATE: Wednesday 14 October 2020

TIME: 5:30am - 6:30am

Listening to podcasts can be a great way to broaden your knowledge and insight into a wide array of subjects, and let's face it, sometimes we are too tired to read one more thing, be it academic or fiction! So we are starting a Pod-Club, we will suggest a few podcasts, fiction and non-fiction in a poll below (and on twitter) for you to vote on, then join us fortnightly for a Pod-Club-chat over zoom!

Before each podcast session we will have an option of a fictional piece or non-fictional podcast episode for you to vote on. Voting closes at noon the Friday before the session, and the winning podcast will be announced via email and twitter.

14th October. Pod-Club - Black History Month
For the first session we are highlighting that October is Black History Month, with a selection of podcasts on this topic.

For this session we are proposing that we either listen and discuss an episode from Black History Year on racial depictions in Hollywood or a short story by Toni Morrison.
