Give It a Go - De-stress and Rebalance Workshop

Join the GIAG team as we learn how to de-stress, relax and recharge during exam season! This virtual workshop will cover how to:

  • Overcome procrastination
  • Reduce the pressure and expectation you might feel
  • Build your self belief and confidence
  • Learn tools including meditation and breathwork to reduce stress and anxiety 

This will help you to:

  • Be more productive
  • Feel calmer and healthier both mentally and physically
  • Realise your strengths and capabilities 
  • Create a support toolkit to help you through exams, assignments and beyond.

Things to know

  • The Zoom link will be included on your ticket receipt - please join in time for the event
  • Have your e-ticket ready, this can be on your phone
  • If you are late for the event and have not let us know we may give your spot to someone on the waiting list

Terms and Conditions

Tickets, Cancellations, Refunds and Adverse Weather Conditions

  1. This is a free event to attend, Give It a Go reserves the right to cancel for any reason. Notifications of cancellations will be given on social media and email where available.
  2. Give it a Go is open to Sheffield Hallam University students and its Alumni only. Each student must book their own ticket however Give it a Go takes no liabilities if a guest is denied access without the proper production of an NUS or uCard.
  3. As the Covid-19 situation can change rapidly, we will advise you if the trip must be cancelled due to staff shortage or government restrictions. In the case of a free event, you do not need to do anything; if you have paid for the event it will be refunded if the event must be cancelled.

Expected Conduct and Liabilities

  1. Please observe the authority of the event host and follow all reasonable instructions. Our staff and guides are there to keep you safe!
  2. We advise against you taking expensive or sentimental belongings to these events. Sheffield Hallam Students’ Union cannot be held liable or responsible for any losses sustained to property however caused.

A. Sorry, this event is only for Sheffield Hallam students, but feel free to bring a student friend!
