WELLNESS WEEK - Anxiety and Me - How to Manage my Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural part of life that we all experience at times. Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life. For example, you may feel worried and anxious about sitting an exam, or having a medical test or job interview. During times like these, feeling anxious can be perfectly normal. However, sometimes people find it hard to control their worries and their feelings of anxiety are more constant. This is when anxiety can affect our daily lives and get in the way of how we deal with things and how we engage with the world around us

This is a group session in which we will explore the nature of anxiety and its impact on your life and overall wellbeing. We will look at ideas and discuss strategies to help you identify and lower your anxiety levels. Learning about ways to overcome your anxiety can enable you to feel in control, be productive and improve your wellbeing.

The sessions are held in small groups and we strive to make everyone feel comfortable - you can share as much or as little as you will feel able to and willing.
