🌸 Welcome to the Sheffield Hallam Anime Society!
We’re a community for anyone interested in anime, manga, Japanese pop culture, or other animated series. Whether you’ve watched hundreds of shows or have absolutely no idea where to start, everyone is welcome!
Our main aim is to bring people together, make friends and enjoy anime as a group.
📺 Anime Night
We meet weekly for our Anime Night, where we watch a selection of shows together chosen by the society.
It’s a relaxed evening and a great way to discover new shows, revisit favourites and meet other people with similar interests.
After Anime Night, we’ll often head out for food or drinks so everyone can hang out and socialise.

Anime Night isn’t all we do! Throughout the year, we organise a variety of socials and special events, which can include:

Becoming an official member gives you access to the full society Discord, where we post details about our weekly Anime Nights, socials, trips and upcoming events.

Our Discord is the main place to keep up with the society, chat with other members and find out what we have coming up.
Once you have purchased your Anime Society membership, join the Discord server and follow the instructions there to get full access.
