Join a Litter Picking Session!

Overview of Project

Want a way to help the community and also improve our environment? Look no further - Litter Picking is your answer!

This Role Involves

We will be meeting in Hallam Square at 12:00 where you will be provided with a picker and a bag. From there you can help us remove litter from around campus and the surrounding area to keep our student spaces sustainable and reduce pollution.

Location

Hallam Square, Sheffield City Centre, Sheffield S1 2LX

Skills/Experience Required

No experience is required. Come along and try it out - but don't forget to bring your coat in case it rains!

Benefits to Others

This is a fantastic way to help the Sheffield community through keeping the streets clean and reducing pollution. Litter picking also protects wildlife by ensuring that animals aren't harmed by eating or getting stuck in rubbish.

Benefits to the Volunteer

Through joining the litter pick, you can have a break from your studies whilst doing some good. This can help you feel more connected to the Sheffield Community whilst getting to make new friends with others in our student community.
