Notice is hereby provided for the Hallam Students' Union Officer Election 2026.
The Election is to be held for the following positions:

*Only students enrolled on a course within the respective College can be elected as Education Officer for their respective College.
**Only students who are considered as 'Overseas' or 'International' students by the University may be elected as International Students' Officer.
Officer Election timeline
The key dates for the Election are as follows:
- Applications: Monday 12 January 2026 (10am) - Thursday 19 February 2026 (4pm)
- Voting: Monday 9 March 2026 (9am) - Thursday 12 March 2026 (4pm)

Additional dates
Between Saturday 21 February and Friday 6 March 2026, candidates will be given training and support to prepare for the Election, as well as opportunities to share their campaigning priorities with students. Provisional results will be announced on Friday 13 March 2026.
Application process
All applications must be submitted electronically through the Hallam Students' Union website between Monday 12 January 2026 (10am) and Thursday 19 February 2026 (4pm).

Rules governing the Election
Election rules govern Hallam Students' Union elections and ensure they are free and fair. The process by which these regulations are implemented is outlined in our Bye-Laws (Bye-Law 5) in conjunction with our Election Rules.
