Welfare Thursday

The Students' Union Advice Service is a free, confidential and independent service.

Do you have questions or concerns about your mental health?

Relying on alcohol or drugs to get you through University?

Having problems with your sexual health and want to get tested?

Want to talk to your part-time rep about LGBT+ issues?

Here at the Students' Union we are dedicated to providing our students with support when they need it most.

The Healthy Hallam initiative aims to inspire people to get healthier but sometimes we know it's not always that easy.

With that in mind we are proud to present Welfare Thursdays!

Based within the Advice Centre at the HUBS, this brings together partner organisations from across Sheffield to provide support for students in a safe, confidential environment. We are proud to work with Sexual Health Sheffield, SHU Wellbeing, the Sheffield Alcohol and Non-Opiate service and our very own LGBT+ Rep.

The initiative will run every other Thursday from 1-3pm at the Advice Centre and will be on a drop-in basis. You can also book appointments for some of the services by contacting us.

Welfare Thursday will run 1-3pm on the following dates:
5th October
