Healthy Hallam

The Students' Union Advice Service is a free, confidential and independent service.

A healthy body feeds a healthy mind which is essential while you're at university.

Here at Sheffield Hallam Students' Union we are proud to present Healthy Hallam; an initiative focussing on sexual health, physical health, healthy eating, mental health and hydration!

Moving away from home, living on a student budget and exploring a different culture, alongside a buzzing social diary can all affect your focus and ability to manage a healthy lifestyle. Here at the Union we want you to have a great experience while you're at university and the Healthy Hallam initiative is here with advice, information and events covering a variety of issues that we know are important to students.

Healthy Hallam's mission is to create a health-conscious culture within our student body; we will offer high quality and useful services whilst sharing the knowhow so that you can actively create a healthy lifestyle for yourself.

We are really proud to be working in partnership with the University as part of this on the Healthy Hallam Challenge! For more details please click below or go to the blog where you can enter the challenge - https://blogs.shu.ac.uk/healthyhallam/

We also run the "Welfare Thursday" scheme which brings together support agencies from across Sheffield to provide our students with the best possible experience here. You can find out more here.
