26 Aug 2026 - 31 Aug 2026

Closing date for applications is 01 Jul.

Volunteer with SHU in the Leeds Festival Helpful Arena Team, for an unforgettable summer experience!

As part of the Helpful Arena Team, you'll have the chance to enjoy Leeds Festival, whilst working in the arena offering information to guests.

This role involves 3 x 6-8 hour shifts over show days (Thursday - Sunday) in the main arena, you will work in pairs or more throughout the festival area, helping festival goers with directions and information, and reporting on any issues - such as litter and facilities. HATs will also be expected to monitor the crowds in busy areas and feed back to their supervisor who can advise Event Control as required.

It involves knowing the festival inside-out to answer questions from the public and communicating any updates such as running order updates and other information (don’t worry, you’ll have training on all of this!) all whilst immersing yourself in the world of Leeds Festival.

Overview of Project

This Role Involves

Working 3 x 6-8 hour shifts over a 4 day period. Your day off will be allocated when we arrive on site. Working pairs, so you are never alone. An onsite HAT manager will keep you informed and motivated with fun activities throughout your shifts.
