Event Volunteer for Krazy Races

We will be looking for support for running our fundraising stalls including raffles, tombolas, glitter tattoos, bucket collection, sign up for next year stand, meeting our mascot Rocky, people to dress up in costumes as well as our mascot, stewarding, bar staff and more! The role will be ad-hoc throughout the event and you may get to volunteer in different roles on the day.

Krazy Races will take place on Sunday 21st June 2026 in Sheffield City Centre! 


We will be running a high action krazy races event from Barker's Pool and down Fargate, an activation Pit Stop zone for our teams in Barker's Pool and a market and fan zone near Town Hall and the Peace Gardens! We will also have some musicians performing throughout the day.

Event volunteers are essential to the running of every aspect of Krazy Races, while pre- and post-event volunteers also provide vital support on the day to help us fundraise.

We welcome volunteer applications from people of all backgrounds. The event will be running from 10am - 5pm we will need help throughout the day from 8am until 8pm.

Skills/Experience Required

For this event we require volunteers to have clear communication, good organisational skills, to interact well with people in the community and good time keeping. This is a fun and exciting event so making sure everyone is having a great time is really important to us.

Benefits to Others

It is an opportunity to support people within the community to ensure they get the most out of the event. This is also an event for the charity Roundabout, therefore any time given on the day supports a great cause.

You will be provided with food and drinks on the day and will get to represent Roundabout wearing one of our t-shirts. This is also a really fun and enjoyable event to be a part of, all for a great cause.

Role Duration

The event will be running from 10am - 5pm and we will need help throughout the day from 8am until 8pm. So any time you can give on the day would be greatly appreciated.

Time Commitment (hours Per week/month/year, etc)

1-8 hours for the one-off day event.

Training Information

We can provide a volunteer induction / training for our volunteers prior to the event.
