Welcome to the African Caribbean Society (ACS) at Sheffield Hallam University! Our society celebrates the vibrant cultures of Africa and the Caribbean and, our mission is to promote diversity and unity, whilst creating an unforgettable university experience. We understand that starting university is a big milestone - exciting, but also nerve-wracking. But don't worry! We are here to make Sheffield your home away from home.
This year we've got a lineup of amazing events that will help you meet new people, make friends and feel a sense of belonging. Our society is inclusive of all backgrounds so it doesn't matter where you are from, we promise you will have a great time!
No two events will be the same. We've got everything from themed parties to relaxed movie nights to thought-provoking panels discussing the struggles our community faces. So whether you're a party person or prefer a quieter vibe, there's something for you!
