This Student Volunteering Week (12-18 February), we're taking part in the Pen Pal scheme for Sheffield Churches Council for Community Care (SCCCC), which helps to keep vulnerable, isolated, and older people in Sheffield connected.

How to get involved

We'll provide you with all the materials you need, so you'll just need to take a few minutes to write a warm message for an older person in need. Simply write Hi or Hello, talk about yourself, your family, your job, your hobby, or your hopes for the future.

Find us at the following locations:

Tuesday 13 February - Volunteering Fair @ Collegiate Campus HOTC, or pop into the HUBS (10am-4pm)

Wednesday 14 February - City Campus, or pop into the HUBS (10am-4pm)

Thursday 15 February - City Campus, or pop into the HUBS (10am-4pm)

There's nothing nicer than receiving a handwritten letter or postcard through the post, so please do get involved and help make a difference across the city.
