What is TOTUM?

TOTUM is a brand new student discount card and platform that replaces the NUS Extra Card. It's the same idea, but bigger and better! The TOTUM team are working on some extra exciting features that will land next year. 

Do I need the card and the app?

To get the most out of TOTUM you need the app and the card, the app is completely free and you pay for a 1 year, 2 year or 3 year card just like before. You can get some features by just downloading the app or just buying the card but to access the full range of discounts and offers you need both.

Where can I get the card from?

You can buy the card from Coffee Union in the HUBS, or online here. If you order your card online you will need to pick it up from Coffee Union. 

How much is the card?

Choose from a 1-year card for just £12, a 2-year card for £22 or a 3-year card for £32.

I already have a NUS Extra card, can I still use it?

If you have a 3 year card, you will be sent a replacement TOTUM card in 2019. If you have a 1 or 2 year NUS Extra Card, you can continue to use it in the same way until it expires.

Help, i've lost my card/my card has been stolen?

If you have lost your TOTUM card, you can purchase a replacement card.

You can order a replacement card here by clicking the 'I want to renew or replace my card' option and providing your email and password. Replacement cards cost £5. Upgrade details are needed on the other upgrades e.g. Gourmet Card or the copy should imply extra costs for the “bolt-ons”. Your replacement card will be despatched in 3-5 working days and will arrive within 7 days after that.

If you bought your card from your place of study: 

If your card was electronically printed at your Students’ Union, you can order a replacement card here by clicking the 'I want to renew or replace my card' option and providing your email address and password.

If your TOTUM card has been stolen, you are entitled to a free replacement, as long as you have reported the theft to the police and have received a crime reference number

I purchased my card on-line or by mail order

Please contact us with your crime reference number, along with your name, email address and home address so that we can order your replacement card.

I purchased my card from my place of study

When purchasing your original TOTUM card from your place of study, if the details were hand written on the back of the card and you had to provide a passport sized photograph, please return to your organisation with your Crime Reference number to obtain a free replacement.

If your card was electronically printed at your Students’ Union, please contact us via email at enquiries@nusextra.co.uk with your crime reference number, along with your name, email address and home address so that we can order your replacement card.

If you do not have a valid crime reference number, you can purchase a replacement card. You can order a replacement card here by clicking the 'I want to renew or replace my card' option and providing your email and password.
