Intersectionality – Minorities within minorities!

"For this LGBTQ+ History month, there are many events planned for students to get involved with and support their own community.

As your LGBTQIA+ Rep, it is incredibly important to me to create an eventful and happy month for you all. This month is focused on those who are a minority within the LGBTQ+ community and focusing on how it affects their lives and raising awareness on these issues – this is something I have always wanted to put time and effort in to, as it is incredibly important to recognise these issues within our community.

Together, let us raise awareness and support our students who face extra challenges and discrimination on a day-to-day basis."

Bailey Sedgwick, LGBTQIA+ Rep 2020/21
