Ever been interested in motorsport racing?
Why not take your passion one step further by joining the karting society!
In the karting society we give you the opportunity to get involved in the beauty of competitive motorsport.
Weather it’ll be your first time behind a wheel or you hold the lap record at your local track, we will have events running throughout the year to cater to everyone!
Hallam Karting Championship: This is an event that will run once a month throughout the academic year. The tournament will have six rounds, (dates and venues to still be decided). No previous competitive karting experience needed.
BUKC: This year, we will be entering a Hallam karting team into the BUKC (British University Karting Championship). The BUKC is a karting championship for universities across the UK, with the championship being hosted by some of the UK’s most prestigious karting tracks. & Much much more!!
Karting is a cheap and affordable form of motorsport, which is why it makes such a great university sport!

NEXT EVENT: Hallam Karting Championships (Round 1) - More information soon!
NEXT BUKC EVENT: Buckmore Park Testing (Friday 3rd November). The BUKC requires all competing drivers to take part in a test day, so this is the perfect event for you if you want to qualify for the BUKC and see what competitive outdoor karting is all about in a non-pressured atmosphere. It costs £60 (£50 for the karting as it is £200 for a team of 4, and then an additional £10 to help fund the trip down to Kent).
