The Makers Society is an exciting new society, dedicated to designing and making things!
The society aims to bring together people who like to make, mod, hack, craft or tinker, and would like to collaborate with others in these endeavours. This society is for anyone with an interest in making and we support all kinds of projects like arts and crafts, cosplay, electronics and robotics.
Another project we will be launching soon is SHU battle bots, a robot wars inspired project in which we will be making fighting robots!
We have also networked with a local group, Learn Create Sell, who give people the skills to create products and bring them to market and we will be doing projects with in the future.
So if your interested in making things, please join our society and Join the Makers Society Facebook group to keep up to date with our events!
