Sheffield Hallam Students' Union is run by five, full time, elected Student Officers and exists to provide representation, facilities, services and activities to its members.

The Sheffield Hallam Psychology Society is open to all new and returning students, especially those with an interest in the science and philosophy of the human mind. Join us, and you’ll be part of an active and successful academic society, one which has raised money for charities, delivered guest lectures, explored the Peak District, brought a pack of guide dogs to Collegiate Campus, and even won the award for ‘biggest impact’ at the 2017 Societies Ball.

The society is also a great way to meet new people, as we collaborate more regularly with other societies, bring in students from a range of backgrounds and degree subjects, and regularly meet up for friendly socials; drinks, bowling, hiking, clubs, afternoon tea – it’s up to you! Furthermore, we can provide experience-based guidance on matters such as life at university and what to expect from a degree in psychology, as well as discussing specialist routes such as clinical or educational practice. Trust us, you’ll be thankful for it later…

The SHSU Psychology Society had an amazing year in 2016/17, and with a new committee, new students, and new ideas, this one will see us (and you!) stand out at Hallam once again. We hope to see you soon.
