Brief Description
The Burton Street Foundation is a not for profit community business providing services to over 200 adults and children every week, as well as providing space for over 50 charities, community groups and business tenants. We deliver these services from 4 large buildings with rooms comprising a café, gym, sports hall, sensory room, function suite, art room, indoor park and recording studio to name just a few. BSF is financially self sufficient and successfully operates within the Third Sector. We employ over 100 people in total, helping us to provide services such as a bistro, parent and toddler group and training programs.

Areas you'll be helping with:

  • Learning disability provision for adults and children – providing creative leisure activities in music, drama, sport, dance, art etc
  • Finance, funding and the third sector  - understanding the position of the business and where it fits
  • Sport and fitness – running a community gym and Sports Hall
  • Catering – running a community café, restaurant, bar and function suite
  • Administration and events organising – organising social nights, media, advertising etc
