Foodhall is Sheffield’s multi-award winning community kitchen and public dining space. During the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic our emergency food parcel response has fed over 12,000 people in the City, and volunteers have given over 7,000 hours of their time.
Throughout our COVID-19 response, warehouse and distribution volunteers have been an essential part of the food surplus ecosystem in Sheffield, whether that’s collecting food from donors such as supermarkets and restaurants, delivering food to individual household or coordiating with our partner organisations to redistribute the food.
We need cyclists and drivers for collections and deliveries, as well as volunteers in the warehouse to help organise and redistribute the food we take in.
