Volunteering: Sunday Center Afternoon

LOCATION: Victoria Hall Methodist Church

The Sunday Centre is a voluntary project that offers delicious hot meal and a safe, friendly and welcoming place to homeless people and people in need every Sundays afternoon. Their guests are homeless, rootless, marginalised, refugees, asylum seekers and anyone in need who are living in Sheffield.

To celebrate Hallam Holidays, SHSU Volunteering and the Sunday Center are organising an One - Off opportunitty for students to come along and support them serving Christmas Dinner! Volunteers can choose from the following roles:

  • Serving on the tea/coffee bar/meal,
  • Interacting with guests (chatting, reading books & newspapers and playing board games or snooker)
  • Cleaning during and after the event

No previous volunteering experience is needed. And you are also welcome to help them with your cooking skill and share care and love with people in need!
