It might be a simple tip, but it's one that's often overlooked. Borrowing library books rather than buying can save a huge amount of money throughout the course of the year. Of course there's setbacks like you won't be able to annotate, and availability is limited, but if you can, it'll save you a decent amount of money, especially if it's just for one module.
