On Monday 23rd October our Indian Society and Sheffield Hallam SU Student Minds Society teamed up to collaborate on their event, 'I Hear You'. This event was an absolute success with many students participating in the event and £27 being raised and donated to Student Minds.
Their event was based on students getting to know each other over conversation where they are blindfolded and do not know who they are talking to. This was a great opportunity for those students to get to know each other without their initial judgements. Those blindfolded was able to speak with each other and get to know each other and they soon realised that they had more in common than they first would have thought.
I personally really enjoyed this event it was amazing to see how our body language changes when you can't see and don't know who you are speaking with. It was also really nice to see students that may not talk to each other in other circumstances getting along and getting to know each other. The event was incredibly successful and I look forward to the next events they have coming up!
Well Done Indian Society and Sheffield Hallam SU Student Minds.
